About This Role

We are looking for an outstanding individual to support a critical element of our business – ensuring our existing clients receive cutting edge intelligence, as well as researching, identifying and evaluating potential clients and market sectors for Neon, globally.

You will support Neon’s MD in the UK, and our CEO in Miami, USA, particularly on maintaining client relationships after a successful project is delivered, and finding the right intelligence to maintain and foster a relationship after the first meeting. This role has the potential to grow into a client-facing position with opportunities in both London and the US.

What you’ll do

  • Own Neon’s prospect and sales pipeline through maintaining our CRM.
  • Update and contribute to Account Plans for each client.
  • Record business development activity and create opportunities to grow our existing client base, working closely with the CEO, MD and Business Operations Manager.
  • Generate new leads by understanding the market we operate in and identifying prospects receptive to Neon’s mission.
  • Identify opportunities to share Neon’s expertise with the wider world via our website and other marketing channels.
  • Help Neon grow through thought leadership and innovative business development ideas.

What we are looking for

You will have a good understanding of business development and client relations, as well as being a commercially minded problem solver.

  • You are self-aware and take responsibility for the energy you bring to the table in everything you do.
  • Proven ability to research, organise and present ideas whilst maintaining an eye for detail.
  • The ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Experience of using CRM systems.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
  • First-class literacy, numeracy and organisational skills.
  • A keen commercial sense.
  • An active interest in current affairs, including tech innovation, as well as a curiosity to learn more about the Open-Source intelligence industry.

Our Benefits

Salary – £35,000-40,000 depending on experience
